• You will be part of more than 20 member schemes whose objectives is to share innovative experiences and best practices in the administration of social security benefits and extension of social security of the population in the region
• To have a common voice in influencing policy changes by engaging decision makers in governments levels, towards secure and resilient livelihoods of people in the region in influencing social protection and development policies.  This is made possible through ASSA annual forums of ASSA Social Protection Policy Makers’ Conference.
• ASSA conducts capacity Building Training Programs and workshops in all thematic areas of social protection (Contributory and Non- contributory) for the in-service staff of the member schemes to enhance their professional aptitude and organizational performance.  The courses can be provided also as inhouse tailormade to suit the members’ needs upon request
• Globally, ASSA collaborates with peer international and regional social security related organizations such as ISSA, ILO and EAC in advising governments and institutions in developing, managing and implementing comprehensive social security policies for effective coverage of national social protection systems

ASSA organizes benchmarking within and outside member schemes.
